Consisting of Format Center and International Department, the General Editorial Department takes charge of global format research, original content creation and international co-development, with its aim of upgrading content creativity and production capacity, providing the platform for ideal input and output, and enhancing format pitching industrialization and marketization. Since the year of 2013, 3C Media, jointly with Shanghai TV Festival, has put on the China TV Format Competition which was later transformed into China Formats, a high-end international forum leading to the frontiers of TV format industry between China and the rest of the world.
