3C Media and School of Journalism & Communication, Renmin University of China established “RUC-Shixi TV & Multimedia Innovation Research Center”, which aims to study current situation and latest trend of TV and multimedia program at home and abroad, to launch international and domestic TV communication activities, to share the new ideas and experiences in TV creation and production as well as to train new talents in the time of media revolution.

September
3C Media obtained the licensing copyright of Identity, a Shine International game show format, and co-produced it with Guangxi TV Satellite Channel. The show was premiered in January 2013.

July
3C Media obtained the licensing copyright of Warner Bros. format Oh Sit and co-produced it with Hunan TV Satellite Channel. And the broadcast of the Chinese version was the first show this format globally.

April
3C Media obtained the licensing copyright of True Talent from Zodiak Media and co-produced its Chinese version with Guangxi TV Satellite Channel. The show achieved high ratings after being broadcasted, and brought Guangxi TV Satellite Channel into the top 10 list of Chinese satellite channels for the very first time. Because of its success, True Talent China plays an important role in format distribution in European and American market.

“The 3C Media Scholarship” was launched. 3C Media become the first private company in China that established a scholarship for TV professionals.
